Kha, video editor
About

Hi, I'm Kha.

I've been shooting, directing, and editing video for 15 years. In 2020, I founded Global Business Studio, a video production company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

A big part of my career was spent producing training films, corporate communications, and documentary pieces, including six years as a regular production vendor for a multinational pharmaceutical company. In that world, getting a factual detail wrong or missing a delivery date wasn't an option. It drilled two habits into me that I still run my studio by today: hit the deadline you promised, and never make a client chase you for a status update.

Today, I work directly with YouTube creators, DTC brands, and startup founders around the world. When you hire me, you don't get passed off to a junior editor or an account manager after the first week. I read your notes, I cut your footage, and I check every frame before sending you the link.

How I approach an edit

Anyone can learn where the razor tool is. What actually makes a video hold attention is editorial judgment: knowing when a setup is dragging, picking the take where the speaker sounds like a real human being, and placing B-roll so it clarifies the point rather than distracting from it. I use modern software to speed through transcripts and rough assembly so I can spend my actual hours on those choices.

Working across timezones

I'm on GMT+7 in Ho Chi Minh City. For clients in the US, UK, Europe, or Australia, the time difference works in your favor: upload your raw files before you log off, and your edit moves forward while you sleep.
